Holly Menino is an award winning multimedia journalist with seven years of broadcasting experience. Holly currently anchors KEZI 9 News This Morning. She enjoys starting her day bright and early bringing Western Oregon its top stories and headlines.

Throughout the course of Holly’s career she’s had the privilege of covering some of Western Oregon’s most newsworthy stories. She’s managed several station franchises, including Baby On Board: A Parent’s Tale and CrimeStoppers. Holly’s been sent on assignment to China with the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce and completed a five part series and a half-hour special on the Eugene-China Connection. Her investigative reporting has landed her numerous exclusives, the most notable being the conclusion of a 15-year-old cold case. With that story she won first place for both general reporting and investigative reporting in the 2011 Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) Northwest Excellence in Journalism Contest. She’s also broken many other stories including downtown development projects and new businesses opening in Eugene and Springfield. Other career highlights include covering the 2008 Presidential Primary visits of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials and the 2006 Roseburg High School shooting.

Holly is not only a passionate journalist, but also a dedicated member of her community. If she’s not out covering breaking news you can find her reading to children with the SMART program, helping out at Eugene’s Relief Nursery or lending a hand to the Angel Hair Foundation.
